NEW2AN 2026 will provide an international platform for presenting high-quality research, exchanging ideas, building collaborations, and discussing emerging directions in next-generation communication networks and intelligent systems.

Welcome to NEW2AN 2026

NEW2AN 2026 will be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from 15–17 December 2026, bringing together researchers, academics, industry experts, and practitioners working in next-generation wired and wireless networks, communication systems, emerging network technologies, and related applications.

The conference provides an international forum for exchanging new ideas, research results, and practical experience in the design, development, deployment, and evaluation of advanced networking systems.

The history of NEW2AN dates back to 1993. Proceedings of NEW2AN 2026 are approved for publication in Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS). The peer-review process will be managed through the Microsoft Conference Management Toolkit (CMT).

Authors, researchers, students, and participants from around the world are warmly invited to join NEW2AN 2026 in Colombo.

Global Undergraduate Hackathon
Human-Centred Intelligence for Connected Futures
Undergraduate teams worldwide are invited to develop responsible, human-centred solutions using AI, intelligent communication systems and connected technologies. Teams of 3–5 students can submit initial concepts online, with shortlisted teams progressing to mentoring, prototype development and an international final.
